L’apparecchio è costituito da due celle:

-Un frigorifero (parte superiore) per la conservazione di cibi feschi e delle bevande.

-Un congelatore (parte inferiore) per la conservazione a lunga durata dei prodotti surgelati (scomparto inferiore) e la congelazione di prodotti freschi (scomparto supe riore).

USO DEL FRIGORIFERO

Avviamento e regolazione della temperatura

Il termostato (A) regola automaticamente la temperatura all’interno dell’apparecchio. Ruotando la manopola dalla posizione “1” alla posizione “5” si ottengono tempera- ture sempre più fredde.

Per ottenere la temperatura ottimale regolare la manopola del termostato in una posizione compresa tra “3” e “4”. Il freddo va, comunque, regolato tenendo conto dei seguenti fattori:

-la temperatura ambiente

-la frequenza di apertura delle porte

-la quantità di alimenti conservati

-la collocazione dell’apparecchio

L’arresto del funzionamento si ottiene con l’indice della manopola in corrispondenza del simbolo “0”. Sulle posizioni di massimo freddo, con temperature ambiente eleva- te, ed una notevole quantità di alimenti, il funzionamento può essere continuo, con formazioni di brina e ghiaccio sull’evaporatore. In questo caso è necessario ruotare la manopola su una posizione di minor freddo, in modo da consentire lo sbrinamento automatico e, in conseguenza, un minor consumo di corrente elettrica.

The appliance consists of two cells:

-A refrigerator (top section) for preservation of fresh food and drinks.

-A freezer (lower section) for long-term preservation of deep-frozen products (lower compartment) and freezing of fresh products (upper compartment).

USING THE REFRIGERATOR

Starting and temperature regulation

The thermostat (A) automatically regulates the internal temperature. When the knob is turned from the position “1” to the position “5”, increasingly colder temperatures are obtained.

To obtain the optimal temperature, set the thermostat knob to a position between “3” and “4”. The temperature should, however, be regulated bearing the following factors in mind:

-ambient temperature

-frequency of door opening

-quantity of food preserved

-the location of the appliance.

The functioning of the appliance is stopped by setting the knob pointer to the symbol “0”. On the maximum cold position with high ambient temperatures and a considerable quantity of food, functioning may be continuous with the formation of frost and ice on the evaporator. In this case the knob must be turned to a less cold position to allow automatic defrosting and, consequently, lower energy consumption.
