MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE & PROCEDURES

The following schedule should be followed for normal care of your tractor and mower. Use the hour meter to deter- mine your operating time.

Check Tractor Brakes						●
Check Mower Blade Stopping Time				●		●

Check Tractor/Mower for loose hardware		●
Check / Clean Cooling Fins				●
Check / Adjust PTO Clutch			●		●
Lubricate Tractor & Mower **			●
Lubricate Rear Axle Shafts						Yearly
Clean Battery & Cables				●
Check Tire Pressure			●
Clean Deck & Check/Replace Mower Blades **				●
Perform Transmission Maint. (Varies by Model)					***●

Check Arbor Drive Belt Tension (40” Mowers)						Yearly

Inspect Spark Plug(s)
Check / Replace Fuel Filter

*Change original engine oil after initial break-in period. Refer to engine owner’s manual.

**More often in hot (over 85° F: 30° C) weather or dusty operating conditions.

***Service after the first 25 hours of operation, then every 250 hours of operation.
