To play back images on a DVD player or a DVD recorder, the way you see pictures on the TV screen may differ depending on your player. For details, refer to the instruction manuals supplied with the devices you are using.

When you connect your camcorder to a TV compatible with the ID-1/ID-2 system, or via an S VIDEO jack, and play back the disc, the TV switches to full mode automatically.

Refer also to the instruction manuals supplied with your TV.

STEADYSHOT

You can record pictures using [STEADYSHOT] (the default setting is [ON]). Set [STEADYSHOT] to [OFF] ( ) when using a tripod or the conversion lens (optional).

STILL SET

Settings for still images (BURST/QUALITY/IMAGE SIZE, etc.)

The default settings are marked with B. The indicators in parentheses appear when the items are selected.

BURST (DCR-DVD205/DVD305/DVD705/DVD755)

You can record several still images one after another by pressing PHOTO.

BOFF

Select this when not recording continuously.

NORMAL ( )

Records still images continuously at approximately 0.5 seconds intervals. The numbers of the maximum recordable images are as follows:

1.0M () : 8 images

VGA (0.3M) () : 21 images 0.7M () : 8 images

EXP. BRKTG ( )

Records 3 images consecutively with different exposures at approximately 0.5 second intervals. You can compare the 3 images and select an image recorded at the best exposure.

The flash will not function during continuous recording.

The maximum number of images will be recorded in the self-timer mode or when you are operating with the Remote Commander (For DCR- DVD305/DVD755).

You may not be able to record continuous images up to the maximum number depending on the image size and the remaining capacity of the disc or “Memory Stick Duo”(For DCR-DVD305/ DVD755).

[EXP.BRKTG] will not function when there is space remaining on the disc or “Memory Stick Duo” (For DCR-DVD305/DVD755)for less than 3 images.

It takes longer to record continuous images to the disc compared to normal recording. Record the next still image after the scroll bar indicator

( ) and the ACCESS lamp turns off.
