4 Press the EXECUTE button.
Initialization begins.
When initialization is complete, the LCD monitor returns to the normal display (as shown in step 1).
Caution
Do not take out the card during initialization. Initialization cannot proceed normally.
Attaching the Viewfinder Cap
Place the cap on the viewfinder when taking pictures with the LCD monitor under strong sunlight, such as outdoors. Keeping the cap on the viewfinder prevents strong rays of light from affecting the recorded pictures.
Preparations
