Channel Show/Hide

Applies to analog channels only. To Show/Hide digital channels, see page 31. Use this feature after you run Auto Program to selectively show or hide channels.

1Use the V or v buttons to highlight the position of the desired channel, then press .

2Use the V or v buttons to highlight Shown or Hidden, then press .

3Press B to return to the Channel Setup Menu or press to exit.

Menus Analog

Press CH + or CH - to skip over channels that have been hidden. You can still use the --9buttons to directly tune to hidden channels.

Channel Label Label up to 40 channels with their call letters

Applies to analog channels only. To label digital channels, see page 31.

1Press , then use the V or v buttons until you reach the desired channel number.

2Press to activate the channel.

3Press v to highlight Label, then press . Use the V or v buttons to display the first call letter or number of the label. Press to select. Repeat this process until you finish selecting all the call letters.

4When finished, press to activate.

5Press B to return to the Channel Setup menu or press to exit.

The Parental Control feature helps parents monitor what their children watch on television.

Parental Control settings control analog and digital programs.

To use the Parental Control Menu

When you select the Parental Control menu, you are prompted to set a 4-digit password. You cannot access the Parent menu settings without this password.

1Use the 0 9 buttons to enter a 4-digit password.

2Confirm your password by entering it again.

Keep this manual in a safe place. You need your password for any future access to the Parental Control menu. If you forget your password, see page 35.
