To connect the cable box and cable

1Connect your cable company to the TV’s VHF/UHF jack using the supplied antenna cable.

2Use a coaxial cable to connect the TV’s TO CONVERTER jack to the cable box’s input jack. (The TV’s internal converter lets you switch between unscrambled signals coming straight into the TV and scrambled signals coming in through the cable box, eliminating the need for an external splitter.)

3Use a coaxial cable to connect the cable box’s output jack to the TV’s AUX jack.

4Run the Auto Setup program, as described in “Setting Up the Channel List” on page 49.

Prevent the accidental switching

When using the cable box, you need the TV to stay on the channel the cable box is
