Cannot receive digital channels (when a DTV receiver is connected)

bCheck the connections between the DTV receiver and the projection TV. (see pages 11 and 12)

bCheck your local listings to find out if you can receive digital broadcasts in your area.

The color of the digital TV program is not correct

bCheck the DTV INPUT setting in the SET UP menu. (see “DTV INPUT” on page 43)

Cannot receive upper channels (UHF) when using an antenna

bMake sure CABLE is OFF in the CHANNEL SET UP menu. (see “CABLE” on page 38)

bUse AUTO PROGRAM to add receivable channels that are not presently in the TV’s memory. (see “AUTO PROGRAM” on page 38)

No color

bAdjust the COLOR in the VIDEO menu. (see “COLOR” on page 34)

bBlack and white programs cannot be seen in color.

bPerform AUTO SET UP again using the SET UP button to return to the factory preset condition. (see “To perform AUTO SET UP again” on page 24)

Only snow and noise appear on the screen

bCheck the CABLE setting in the CHANNEL SET UP menu. (see “CABLE” on page 38)

bCheck the antenna/cable connections.

bMake sure the channel is broadcasting programs.

bPress ANT to change the input mode. (see “ANT” on page 25)

Dotted lines or stripes

bAdjust the antenna.

bKeep the projection TV away from noise sources such as cars, neon signs or hair-dryers.

TV is fixed to one channel

bUse AUTO PROGRAM to add receivable channels that are not presently in TV’s memory. (see “AUTO PROGRAM” on page 38)

bTry turning CHANNEL FIX off. (see “CHANNEL FIX” on page 38)

Double images or ghosts

bUse a highly directional outdoor antenna or a cable (when the problem is caused by reflections from nearby mountains or tall buildings).

Cannot operate the menu

bIf the item you want to choose appears in gray, you cannot select it.

bPress the projection TV’s power button off and on again.

Cannot receive any channels when using cable TV

bCheck the connection with a cable box again. (see pages 8 and 10)

bMake sure CABLE is ON in the CHANNEL SET UP menu. (see “CABLE” on page 38)

Cannot gain enough volume when using a cable box

bIncrease the volume at the cable box. Then press TV (FUNCTION) and adjust the projection TV’s volume.

CHANNEL INDEX does not display all available channels
