Two VCRs for Tape

Editing

Connecting two VCRs lets you record from one VCR to the other. By

connecting them as shown below, you can view (monitor) what is

being rec orded.

To connect two VCRs for tape editing
1Use an A/V cable to connect the playback VCR’s A/V output

jacks to the TV’s A/V input jacks.

2Use an A/V cable to connect the recording VCR’s A/V input

jacks to the TV’s MONI TOR OUT jacks.

Press TV/VIDEO repeatedly to select the VCR input (VIDEO 1 in the
illustration above).
Set up the TV remote control
to operate the VCR(s)
If you have a non-Sony VCR, you must program the remote control. See

Activate the TV remote
control to operate the VCR(s)
Press VCR/DVD FUNCTION.
