Satellite Receiver

and VCR

To connect a satellite receiver and VCR
1Connect the CATV cable to the single (input) jack of the splitter.
2Use a coaxial cable to connect one of the splitter’s two output
jacks to the TV’s VHF/UHF jack.
3Use a coaxial cable to connect the splitter’s other output jack to
the satellite receiver’s VHF/UHF input jack.
4Connect the satellite antenna cable to the s atellite receiver’s
satellite input jack.
5Use a coaxial cable to connect the satellite receiver’s VHF/UHF
output jack to the V CR’s VHF/UHF in put jack.
6Use an A/V cable to connect the satellite receiver’s A/V output
jacks to the TV’s A/V input jacks.
7Use an A/V cable to connect the VCR’s A/V output jacks to the
TV’s A/V input jacks.
8Run the Auto Setup program, as described in “Setting Up the
Channel List” on page32.

Set up the TV remote control
to operate the satellite
receiver or VCR
If you have a non-Sony VCR or satellite receiver, you must program the
remote control. S ee “Programm ing the Remo te Control” o n pages 37-38 .
Activate the TV remote
control to operate the satellite
receiver or VCR
For the satellite receiver, press SAT/CABLE FUNCTION. For the VCR, press
VCR/DVD FUNCTION.
