Creating Basic Settings for the LocationFree® Player (Registering at Home)

You can register your PSP® system with the Base Station and set to connect to a wireless LAN. When you connect your PSP® system to the Base Station via your router, set up according to the following procedures.

1 Connect a PC to the Base Station and follow the Setup Wizard to complete the Wireless Mode Setup for CLIENT.

2 Turn on the WLAN switch of the PSP® system.

3 Connect your PSP® system to the router. (For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of the PSP® system.)

4 Updating your PSP® system software via the Internet.5 Select under from the home menu, and then press the button.

The setting screen for use of LocationFree® Player is displayed. Press the right button to go to the next screen.

zTip

To re-register your PSP® system with the Base Station or to register your PSP® system with another Base Station, you must perform [Basic Settings] again (1 page 21).

6 Select [Start], and then press the button.
