*Except for North American and European models, press DIGITAL repeatedly to select “DIGITAL 1” (for the digital input from the rear panel) or “DIGITAL 2” (for the digital input from the front panel).

Tips

Pressing DIGITAL, MD (VIDEO) or GAME while the power is off automatically turns the power on.

When you remove the optical cover, keep it for future use.

Notes

Make sure to match the color of the plugs and the connectors.

If the sound is distorted or too loud when VIDEO function is selected, or you want to switch back to MD function, repeat the operation described above to switch to MD function.

Digital signals are output from DIGITAL OUT jack during CD or DIGITAL function only. Besides, the sound output from the DIGITAL OUT jack is not affected by the sound adjustment.

This unit is not compatible with 96 kHz sampling frequencies and SACD format.
