Charging the battery pack

Whenthe cam era is turned on, you cannot charge the battery pack. Be sure toturn off

thepower of t he camera.

After charging the battery pack

Disconnect the AC power adaptor from the DC IN jack on your camera.

Battery remaining indicator

TheLCD scre en or finder on the camera shows the remaining tim e for which you can

stillrecordorplaybackimages.

Thisindication may not be entirelyaccurate depending on the conditionsof use and

theoperating environment.

Chargingat a room temperature of 10°Cto30°C(50°Fto86°F)is recommended.

1Insertthe battery pack into your camera.

2Openthe DC INc over and connect the AC power adaptor to the DC

INjack of your camera with the vmark facing up.

3Connectthe power cord (mains lead)to the AC power adaptor and

thent o a wall outlet (mains).

ThePOWER ON/OFF (CHG) lamp (orange) below the LCD screen lights up

whenchargi ng begins. When the POWER ON/OFF (CHG) lamp goes off, full

chargeis completed.
