Digital zoom function

Thiscamera has a digital zoom function.

Digital zoom enlarges the image by digital processing, and it starts to function w hen

thezoom exceeds10×.

Using digital zoom

•Themaximum zoom magnification is 20×.

•Digitalzooming deteriorates the picture quality. When digital zoom is not

necessary,set [DIGITAL ZOOM] to[OF F]in the menu settings (page 45).

Note

Digitalzoom does not work for moving images.
