Using the PROGRAM
AE function
To cancel PROGRAM AE
PressPROGRAM AE repeatedly until
theindicat or on the LCD screen or on
thefinder goes out.

•Youcan focus only on distant subjects in
Landscapemode.
•InPanfocus mode, the zoom posit ion is set
tothe W side and foc us is fixed.
•Whenyou record in Twilight plus mode,
werecommend that you usea tripodto
preventshaking.
•Setthe forced flash whenyou use the
flashin the following modes:
–Twilightmode
–Twilightplus mode
–Landscapemode
•Youcannot use the PROGRAM AE
functionwhen [REC MODE] is set to
[TEXT].
•Ifthe setting is not a ppropriate in aperture
prioritymode and shutt er speed priority
mode,the setting value indi cator on the
LCDscreen or on the finder flashes.In this
case,reset the value.

recordinga still image, or in 11
