	Removing a Memory Stick™
User	To remove a Memory Stick™, proceed as follows:
Desktop	2	Select the hardware you want to unplug.
	1	Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the taskbar.
		The dialog box Safely Remove Hardware appears.
VAIO	3	Click Stop.
Sony	4	In the Stop a Hardware Device dialog box, confirm that the device can be safely removed from the
		system.
	5	Click OK.
		You get the message that it is safe to remove the device.
	6	Click Close.
	7	Push the Memory Stick™ in to release it, and then pull it out.

￿ Always remove the Memory Stick™ gently, or it may pop out unexpectedly.

You are recommended to remove the Memory Stick™ before shutting down the computer.
