Removing a memory module

To remove a memory module, proceed as follows:

1Shut down your computer.

2Disconnect all peripheral devices.

3Unplug the computer and remove the battery pack.

4Wait until the computer cools down.

5Turn your computer upside down.

6Open the cover on the bottom by unscrewing the screws (turn counter clockwise).

7To remove the memory module, pull the tabs in the direction of the arrows 1. The memory module is released.

8Pull the memory module in the direction of arrow 2.

9Close the cover.

10Gently tighten the screws.

Installing a memory module

To install a memory module, proceed as follows:

1Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices.

2Unplug the computer and remove the battery packs.
