Using the weight saver

The weight saver protects the multipurpose bay when it is empty, and secures the second battery or the

CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive when they are installed in the multipurpose bay.

 

2 Slide the weight saver in the direction of the arrow until it clicks into place.

 

 

To attach the weight saver, proceed as follows:

 

 

1 If another device is in the multipurpose bay, remove the device.

To remove the weight saver, proceed as follows:

1Slide the multipurpose bay release lever on the bottom of the computer in the direction of the arrow.

2Remove the weight saver.
