Using the Line Through

function, you can watch

programmes from other equipment connected to this

VCR on the TV even when the VCR is turned off. When you turn on the other

equipment, this VCR automatically sends the signal from the other equipment to the TV without turning itself on.

1 Connect the other equipment to the DECODEUR/ENTREE LIGNE-3 connector as shown above.

2 Set DECODEUR/LIGNE3 to LIGNE3 in the OPTIONS-2 menu.

3 Set VEILLE ECO to NON or PARTIELLE in the OPTIONS-2 menu.

4 Turn off the VCR.

To watch a programme, turn on the other equipment and the TV.

Note

•You cannot watch programmes on the TV while recording unless you are recording a programme from other equipment.
