Setting a Sony Wallpaper

Your Sony VAIO computer offers you, among many other features, a choice of wallpapers.

You can change the wallpaper, the background of your desktop, as many times as you like. There are several VAIO-specific wallpapers to choose from.

To set another VAIO wallpaper

1Click Start and then Control Panel.

2Click Appearance and Themes.

3Click Display.

4Click the Desktop tab.

A list of Windows and VAIO wallpapers is displayed.

5Select a wallpaper from the Background list.

You can see a preview of this wallpaper in the monitor above the Background list.

6Adjust the position of the wallpaper with the Position drop-down list.

7Click Apply when you have found the appropriate wallpaper.

8Click OK.

The wallpaper is applied to your computer.

A higher screen resolution reduces the size of items on your screen and increases the relative space on your desktop.

You may not be able to increase the screen resolution above a certain level. Your monitor and video adapters, for example, determine to which extent you can change the resolution.
