Using Your VAIO Computer

To transfer data from or to another Bluetooth device

1Choose Start, point to All Programs, Accessories, Communications, and then click Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. The Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard window appears.

2Click Next to continue.

3Follow the on-line instructions.

To connect to a network with Bluetooth device

With Bluetooth connections, you can join a personal area network (PAN), which is an Internet Protocol (IP)-based network.

1Turn on the WIRELESS switch.

2Click Start and then Control Panel.

3Click Network and Internet Connections.

4Click Network Connection.

5Click Bluetooth Network Connection.

The Bluetooth Personal Area Network Device window appears.

If you wish to connect to a Bluetooth device that is not displayed, click Add.

If you wish to connect to a displayed Bluetooth device, select the device's icon and click Connect.

6Follow the on-screen instructions.

Stopping the Bluetooth Connection

To stop the Bluetooth connection, turn off the WIRELESS switch. The Bluetooth indicator turns off.
