Troubleshooting Power Management

The power management setting is not responding

Your computer's operating system may become unstable if a lower power state, such as Hibernate is initiated, and then changed before the computer completely enters the lower power state.

To restore the computer to its normal operating stability

1Close all open applications.

2Press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys simultaneously and select Restart from the shut down menu drop-down list. The computer restarts.

3If the procedure does not work, press and hold the power button for four seconds or longer to shut down the computer.
