Connecting peripheral devices
Connecting a port replicator (VGN-A series)
Your computer supports the use of an optional port replicator. Attaching a port replicator enables you to connect additional peripherals to your computer, such as a printer and an external display.

The port replicator can be powered only with the AC adapter supplied with your computer. Do not remove the AC adapter from the port replicator or the AC outlet when using the port replicator; this may cause data damage or hardware malfunctions.
When video cables are connected to
To connect an external audio source (such as a CD player), proceed as follows:
Connect your audio device's left and right audio cables into the right (6) and left (6) audio in connectors.
