Configuring the Network Settings Using the Menu
Use the menus to configure the settings, as
the configuration with Simple Setting is not
available in the following cases:
– When 802.1x Authentication of a
wireless LAN is required to be set
– When you want to make a Data
Encryption setting for an Ad-hoc (Peer-
to-peer) connection over a wireless LAN
– When you change Common Setting
items such as Projector Name and
Password
– When you initialize the Network Setting
Entering the IP Address and the security Key,
etc. is required for the settings using the menus.
For the required items, contact your network
administrator before starting men u operation.
1Press the MENU key on the remote
commander to display the menu.
2Press the v/V/b/B key to select “To
Network Setting” in the Network
Setting menu then press the ENTER
key.
The Network Setting menu appears.
3Press the v or V key to select “Wired
Network” then press the ENTER key.
The Wired Network Setting menu
appears.
4Enter the necessary items using the v/
V/b/B key and ENTER key.
The on-screen keyboard appears when
the menu prompts you to enter values,
etc.
For the procedure for using the on-
screen keyboard, see “Using the On-
Screen Keyboard” on page23.
5Select “Confirm” then press the
ENTER key once all the items have
been entered.
The Network Setting menu is restored,
and the entered settings are displayed.
6Press the MENU key to quit the
setting.

2Press the v/V/b/B key to select “To
Network Setting” in the Network
Setting menu then press the ENTER
key.
The Network Setting menu appears.
