Copying Photos
This mode allows you to record photos onto
a disc from a camera connected to the
DVDirect, or a memory card inserted into
any of memory card slots, with a single
touch of the (record) button. This is one
of the simpler copy modes, eliminating the
need to select photos stored on your camera
or memory card.
Initially, turn on the DVDirect (page 29),
insert a disc (page 30) and connect cables
for recording (page 31), or insert the
memory card (page 36).
1Confirm the message in the
display window.
When the DVDirect detects a signal
from a camera connected to the USB
port or a memory card inserted into any
of the memory card slots, [USB] or the
type of memory card appears in the top
left of the display window.
The following appears in the display
window when a camcorder is connected
to the USB port.
2Make sure that [Full] appears at
the top right of the display
window, and press the
(record) button to start recording.
The DVDirect starts the recording
process. The (record) button lights
up during recording. The following
appears in the display window.
3Press the Z (eject) button to eject
the disc when recording is
complete.
A message asking whether to finalize
the disc appears. Go to step 4. If
[Slideshow Creation] is set to [ON], the
disc is finalized automatically when
creation of the slideshow is complete,
and the disc tray opens. You can skip
steps 4 to 6.
4To finalize the disc, press V or v
to select [Yes] and press the
ENTER button.
