Music player

Your phone supports the following file types: MP3, MP4, M4A, 3GP, eACC+, AAC, AAC+, Enhanced AAC, AMR, IMY, EMY, WAV (16 kHz maximum sample rate) and Real®8. The phone also supports streamed files that are 3GPP compatible.

Use the music player with the phone open or closed.

Phone closed

Press to turn the Music Player on or off.

Press to go to the next song.

Press to go to the previous song.

Press and hold or to fast forward or rewind.

Press to minimize or maximize Music Player.

Phone open

Press to open or minimize the Music Player during playback.

Press Stop to pause the playback. Press Play to resume play.

Press to go to the next song.

Press to go to the previous song.

Press and hold or to fast forward or rewind when playing songs.

Press or to view and scroll files in the current playlist during playback.

Press Play to select a highlighted file in a list.

When in Now Playing, press to go to the Music Player browser.

Press and hold to exit.

To play music

1} Music Player. The Music Player browser opens.

2Browse for songs by artist or track. Select a list } Open.

Browsing files Browse songs:

Artists – lists songs you have transferred using Disc2Phone.

Tracks – lists all songs (not ringtones) in your phone and on a Memory Stick Micro(M2).

Playlists – create or play your own lists of songs.
