Direct Connect Contact Groups

You can create new groups of Direct Connect contacts, add new contacts to the group, and manage the groups.

nTo create a new group, select Menu (left selection key) > Contacts > DC Groups > Options (left selection key) > New group. You can assign a name.

nTo manage a group, select Menu (left selection key) > Contacts > DC Groups. Highlight a group and then select Options (left selection key). The following options are displayed.

You can also add unknown group connect groups to DC groups. Select Menu (left selection key) > History > Call Log > highlight the desired group connect call > Save to DC groups > enter a new DC group name and select Save.

TeamDC

TeamDC lets Direct Connect users make group calls to up to 200 other users nationwide. With TeamDC, any Direct Connect or Sprint user can create a TeamDC group online, which the system then automatically sends to all the group members’ phones. Once a user creates and distributes a TeamDC group, any member of the group can make a TeamDC call to the entire group. If the user who created the group makes any changes to the group, the system automatically sends updates to the members’ phones.
