The section provides information on personalizing your phone through its various settings.

Profiles

Profiles allow you to use a set of predefined settings on your Sonim XP STRIKE IS phone, as well as customize these settings to use features such as incoming call alert, ring tone, ring volume, vibrating alert, message alert tone, keypad tones, and Java App. Volume for settings.

Follow the instructions below to use or customize profiles.

1.From the home screen, select Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Profiles.

2.Select one of the profiles.

3.Select either Activate to use the selected profile or Edit to modify the profile’s settings.

Note: You cannot change the parameters for the Silent mode and flight mode. These profiles have different options.

nGeneral: This is the default profile where all sounds are enabled.

nHome: This profile is similar to the general profile.

nMeeting: Sounds are kept fairly minimal.

nOutdoor: Both vibrate and ring modes are enabled.

nSilent: All sounds are kept in mute.

Note: The Alarm tone will be played even in Silent profile.

nFlight: You cannot make or receive calls but can play the media player. You can deactivate flight mode only by selecting Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Profiles > Flight > Normal or by activating another mode.

Display Settings

Follow the instructions below to modify the display settings.

nSelect Menu (left selection key) > Settings > Display. Modify the desired options.

Wallpaper: Set the background screen display using the embedded pictures available in your phone or from your own pictures that you have downloaded onto your phone or microSD card. The selected wallpaper is displayed on the home screen.
