Setting theTextEntry

Tosetthetextentry:

1.Press to access the main menu.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select Others ( WXYZ ).

4.Select TextEntry.

5.Select your desired option and press .

■Auto-Capitalto set the auto-capital On or Off.

■MyWords to set your original words (see page 45).

■InputLanguage to select the language (English or Spanish).

■T9SettingstocustomizetheT9settings(seepage44).

■AddWord to store words that you use frequently (see page 45).

Setting Abbreviated Dialing

Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. It allows you to dial a number by entering 3-6 digits of any number in your Contacts Directory. If the digits you enter do not match any stored Contacts entry, your phone will automatically prepend the digits you specify.

Toactivatethisfeature:

1.Press to access the main menu.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select Others ( WXYZ ).

4.Select Abbrev.Dial.

5.Select Ph.BookMatch.

6.Select Enable.
