Accessing SMS TextMessages
To read an SMS Textmessage:
When you receive a textmessage, itwill automatically
appear on your phone’s main display screen, depending
on your settings (see "Displaying Pop-up Messages" on
page 51). Use your navigation key to scroll down and
view the entire message.
To reply to an SMS Textmessage:
1. While the message is open, press Options(rightsoftkey )
and then selectReply.
2. Compose your reply or use the presetmessages or icons.
To type a message, use your keypad to enter your
message. Use the rightsoftkey to selecta character
inputmode. (See “Entering Text”on page 34.)
To use a presetmessage or a smiley, press the right
softkey, selectSmileysor PresetMessages, highlight
your desired message or emoticon, and press .
3. Scroll to Priorityand press your navigation key rightor
leftto set the message priority (Normal or Urgent).
4. If you wish to change your callback number, scroll to it
and press , then selectNone, My Phone Number, or
Otherand press . (If you selectOther, enter the
desired number and press .)
5. Press Send(leftsoftkey ) to send the message.
