4.Holding the cartridge with both hands, rock it gently from end to end, 7 or 8 times, to distribute the toner evenly. If the toner is not distributed evenly in the cartridge, it may adversely affect print quality.

5.Place the cartridge on a flat surface. While holding down the cartridge with one hand, use the other hand to pull the tab to remove the seal.

Make sure that the tab is pulled smoothly in a direction parallel to the flat surface. Otherwise, the tape may break or snap, making the cartridge unusable.
