Si no es posible adherir directamente la bañera al subpiso o si se desea menos movimiento, considere la instalación de una capa de cemento mortero opcional.

Instale una capa de cemento mortero (opcional)

NOTA: Si va a instalar una capa de cemento mortero, el protector no se requiere.

Saque la bañera y el material protector del encajonado entre tres paredes.

NOTA: No utilice yeso, cemento de yeso o pasta para paneles de yeso con esta aplicación, puesto que no proporcionarán el soporte estructural adecuado.

NOTA: Los soportes de la bañera deben descansar directamente sobre el subpiso.

Aplique una capa de 2″ (5,1 cm) de cemento mortero en el subpiso, untando de manera que las áreas de la bañera que harán contacto con el subpiso tengan cemento mortero. No extienda el cemento mortero en el área del desagüe. Deje lugar para que el cemento mortero se expanda con el peso de la bañera.

Inmediatamente coloque la bañera en su lugar.

Verifique que la bañera esté nivelada y apoyada sobre todos los soportes.

Limpie la bañera para reducir el riesgo de daños a la superficie.

Coloque una lona limpia u otro material similar en el fondo y sobre el filo exterior de la bañera. Tenga cuidado de no rayar la superficie de la unidad.
