(1)Remove the brush cover.

,(2) Remove the brush holders.

I	Disconnect the terminals wired to the
	brushes before removing the brush
	holders.

i (1) Loosen the cover bolts and remove them.

* RGX305, RGX305D 6~ bolt . . . 3 PCS.

I * RGX405, RGX405D, RGX505 RGX505D:

89 bolt . . . 4 PCS.

	(2) Remove the stator cover.
!	Turn up the stator cover edge and
	remove the stator cover.

Be sure to remove the

/brush holders first be-

1 causeif the rear cover is removed from the gen- erator without removing

! the brush holders the i brushes will break.

(3) Remove the rear cover.

(See Fig. lo- 10.)

ILightly tap the rear cover with a

Iplastic hammer, and remove it.

*RGX505- llOV, l?OV, RGX505D: Pull out the wire from the rear

1 cover.

The type that usesa con- nectar does not permit complete separation of the stator and rear cover because the connector cannot be pulled out of ! the rear cover or gram- ! met. In this case,simply remove the rear cover from the bearing.
