Using your Stainless Drip Filter (continued)

Brewing coffee using manual operation

Important: Do not use disposable filter papers with this appliance.

1.Place the Stainless Drip Filter on a flat, level surface.

2.Add water into the drip filter by opening the water tank lid and filling to the desired level. The number of cups is clearly marked on the water gauge. Do not fill above the maximum 12 cup capacity. We recommend not preparing less than 4 cups of coffee at once.

3.Ensure the filter basket holder and removable mesh filter basket are firmly positioned into place. Using the supplied coffee spoon, add the desired amount of coffee. We recommend two spoons of ground coffee per cup of drip filter coffee you are preparing. Close the water tank lid.

4.Place the empty carafe into position on the keep warm plate and connect the plug into a 230/240 Volt AC power outlet. The LCD will illuminate and display ’12.00’.

5.Press the ON/AUTO/OFF button once, and coffee will start to drip through into the carafe.

Note: With the anti-drip valve, you can remove the carafe from the hot plate at any time during the brewing cycle. Return the carafe immediately after pouring coffee to avoid the filter basket from overflowing, as the brewing cycle continues even when you temporarily remove the carafe.

6.Once all the coffee has dripped through and the water tank is empty the brewing cycle is complete. Wait a few minutes before removing the filter basket holder and removable mesh filter basket, as there will still be hot liquid contained in the coffee that needs to drip through.

7.Wait until the coffee in the removable mesh filter basket is cool before removing. Simply grasp the handle of the filter basket holder and both the mesh filter basket and filter basket holder can be removed for cleaning.

8.The keep warm plate will remain on for up to 2 hours, or press the ON/AUTO/OFF button twice to turn the appliance off.

Note: Turn the appliance off once the glass carafe is empty, otherwise it may crack

Tip: The pause and serve feature is a convenient way to serve coffee mid cycle, however it is ideal to wait until the end of the brewing cycle to ensure the optimum flavour from your coffee.
