Operating this unit

2Press cor dto select the desired set- ting.

This switches you to the selected setting.

!L+R – Left and right

!L – Left

!R – Right

!MIX – mixing left and right

Note

This function is possible only with Linear PCM sound.

Pausing DVD video playback

Pause lets you temporarily stop disc playback.

1Press FUNCTION to select PAUSE.

2Press ato turn pause on.

#To turn pause off, press b.

Selecting the title list

When the separately sold display is connected to this unit, the listed information will appear on it.

The title list lets you see the list of titles on a playing DVD-VR disc. The title list is displayed when playing DVD-VR disc with both original mode and playlist mode. You can easily select a desired title from the title list.

!This function is available for DVD-VR.

!You can also display the title name list by clicking the joystick. Titles can also be se- lected by using the joystick. Refer to Select- ing the title list on page 23.

1Press FUNCTION to select the title list. Press FUNCTION until the title list appears in the display.

2Press aor bto scroll through the list of titles.

When you select the title, that selection will
begin to play.	Operating
4 Press DISPLAY to return to the ordinary
display.
# If you do not operate the list within about 30
seconds, the display is automatically returned to	this
the ordinary display.
Using compression	unit
Using the COMP (compression) function let
you adjust the sound quality of disc.

1Press FUNCTION to select COMP.

2Press aor bto select your favorite set- ting.

COMP OFF—COMP 1—COMP 2

Selecting the play mode

You have two methods for playing DVD-VR disc; ORIGINAL (original) and PLAYLIST (play- list).

!Titles created with DVD recorders are called original. Based on original, rear- ranged titles are called playlist. Playlists are created on DVD-R/RW discs.

!PLAYLIST can only be selected when a disc that has a playlist is played.

!This function is available for DVD-VR.

1Press FUNCTION to select the play mode.

Press FUNCTION until ORIGINAL or PLAYLIST appears in the display.

2Press cor dto select the play mode.

ORIGINAL—PLAYLIST

# If the play mode is changed, playback starts from the beginning of the selected play mode.
