CAUTION
Pioneerrecommends the use of a camera
whichoutputs mirror reversed images, other-
wisescreen image may appear reversed.
Youcan install a rear view camera onto the AV
inputand display a rear viewcamera video.
Whenthe gear shift is in REVERSE (R) posi-
tion,the video automatically switches to a rear
viewcamera video. (For more details, consult
yourdealer.)
!Afteryou set upthe rear view camera set-
ting,move the gear shift in REVERSE (R)
andconfirm if a rear view camera video
canbe shown on the display.
!Ifthe display should be switched to a rear
viewcamera video by error while you are
drivingforward, change the rear viewcam-
erasetting.
!Whenyou select CAMRA in V.IN, you can
selectCAMRA.
1 PressFUNCTION to select CAMRA.
2 Presscor dto select an appropriate
setting.
!BAT–When the polarity of the connected
leadis positive while the gear shift is in RE-
VERSE(R) position
!GND–When the polarity of the connected
leadis negative while the gear shift is in
REVERSE(R) position
Setting the rear output andsubwoofercontroller
Thisunit’s rear output (rear speaker leads out-
putand RCA rear output) can be used for full-
rangespeaker (R-SP FULL) or subwoofer
(R-SPS/W) connection. If you switch the rear
outputsetting to R-SP S/W, you can connect a
rearspeaker lead directly to a subwoofer with-
outusing an auxiliary amp.
1 PressFUNCTION to select R-SP.
2 Pressaor bto switch the rear output
setting.
Pressingaor bwill switch between
R-SPFULL (full-range speaker) and R-SP S/W
(subwoofer)and that status will be displayed.
#Whenno subwoofer is connected to the rear
output,select R-SP FULL.
#Whena subwoofer is connected to the rear
output,set for subwoofer R-SP S/W.
Notes
!Evenif you change this setting, there is no
outputunless you turn the subwoofer output
on(refer to Using subwoofer output on page
44).
!Ifyou change this setting, subwoofer output
inthe audio menu return to the factory set-
tings.
!Bothrear speaker leads outputs and RCA rear
outputare switched simultaneously in this
setting.
Switching the Ever Scroll
WhenEver Scroll is set to ON, recorded text in-
formationscrolls continuously in the display.
Setto OFF if you preferthe information to
scrolljust once.
1 PressFUNCTION to select E-SCRL.
2 Pressaor bto turn E-SCRL on or off.
Setting the TV signal
Whenthis unit is connected to a TV tuner, you
needto adjust the TV signal suitable to your
countryTV signal setting.
