For WMA/MP3/AAC discs

Folder number and file number—ALBM TITLE (album title)—TRK TITLE (track title)— FLDR NAME (folder name)—FILE NAME (file name)—ART NAME (artist name)

#When the separately sold display is connected to this unit, the information of currently playing disc will appear on it.

#Elapsed play time is always shown on the dis- play.

Notes

!You can scroll to the left of the title by pressing and holding DISPLAY.

!Audio CD that contains certain information such as text and/or number is CD TEXT.

!If specific information has not been recorded on a disc, NO XXXX will be displayed (e.g., NO NAME).

!Depending on the version of Windows Media Player used to encode WMA files, album names and other text information may not be correctly displayed.

!When Ever Scroll is set to ON at the initial set- ting, text information scrolls continuously in the display. Refer to Switching the Ever Scroll on page 53.

Selecting tracks from the track title list

When the separately sold display is connected to this unit, the listed information will appear on it.

Track title list lets you see the list of track titles on a CD TEXT disc and select one of them to play back.

!You can also use the function menu to dis- play the track name list. Tracks can also be selected by using a/b/c/dbuttons on the head unit. Refer to Selecting tracks from the list on page 40.

1Click the joystick to display the list of track titles.

2Move the joystick up or down to change the desired track title.

3Move the joystick right to select the de- sired track title.

When you select a track, the selection will

begin to play.

# You can also select the track by clicking the joystick.

4Press DISPLAY to return to the ordinary display.

Selecting tracks from the file name list

When the separately sold display is connected to this unit, the listed information will appear on it.

File name list lets you see the list of file names (or folder names) and select one of them to playback.

!You can also use the function menu to dis- play the list of files (or folders). File can also be selected by using the a/b/c/dbut- tons on the head unit. Refer to Selecting tracks from the list on page 40.

1Click the joystick to display the list of files (or folders).

2Move the joystick up or down to change the list of file names (or folder names).

3Move the joystick right to select the de- sired file name (or folder name).

When you select a file, the selection will begin to play.
