What’s What

Head unit

1AUDIO button

Press to select various sound quality con- trols.

2BAND button

Press to select among three FM bands and MW/LW bands and to cancel the control mode of functions.

3SOURCE button, VOLUME

This unit is turned on by selecting a source. Press to cycle through all the available sources.

Rotate it to increase or decrease the vo- lume.

4Disc loading slot Insert a disc to play.

5EJECT button

Press to eject a disc from this unit.

6TA button

Press to turn TA function on or off. Press and hold to turn AF function on or off.

7AUX1 input jack (3.5 mm stereo/video jack)

Use to connect an auxiliary equipment.

   

8DETACH button

Press to remove the front panel from the head unit.

9EQ button

Press to select various equalizer curves.

aSW button

Press to select the subwoofer setting menu. Press and hold to select the bass boost set- ting menu.

b1 to 6 buttons

These buttons can perform the same opera- tion as NUMBER (1 to 6) buttons on the re- mote control. Press for preset tuning and disc number search when using a multi-CD/ DVD player.

ca/b/c/dbuttons

Press to perform manual seek tuning, fast forward, reverse and track search controls. Also used for controlling functions.

dDISPLAY button

Press to select different displays.

eFUNCTION button Press to select functions.
