Primary switch
The K6isnormallyswitchedonandoffusingthe | |

The K6 also features a primary switch (rocker switch) | |
located on the left under the front panel. Operatin | g the |
primary switch completely disconnects the K6 from the
mains supply, e.g. if you knowyou will be absent f | or a |
protractedperiod.TheOnandOffsettingsofthes | witch |
aremarkedontherocker. |

To use the machine you must first switch it on at t | he |
primaryswitch;itcanthenbeswitchedonandoff | using |
the buttonontheremotecontrolhandset. |

Notes
Ifyouswitchoffthe K6 at the primaryswitch, it still re tainsallthesettingsyouhavemade.Theintegral clock continuestorunforabouttwodays.
If the K6 is left switched off for a fairly long period the
clock has to be reset (manually, or automatically by RDS:see 'The tuner as alarm clock').Thealarmfunc tion and the loopthrough function for AV programme material(settopbox,videorecorder)totheTVse tare
notavailableiftheunitisturnedoffattheprim aryswitch.
Emergency buttons
Totherightoftheprimaryswitchontheunderside ofthe
K6youwillfindthreesmallbuttonswhichcanbeuse dto controlthemachineinanemergency.Thesebuttons can beusedtooperatetheessentialfunctionsdirectly .
