nected to it. Some TV sets also support the combine | d | |
use of several norms (e.g. RGB and CVBS or SVideo |
| |
andCVBS). |

To avoid compatibility problems, and to ensure that | all | |
source devices and onscreen menus are displayed |
| |
correctlyonyourTVscreen,werecommendthatyou |
| use |
oneofthefollowingconfigurations. |

1. Standard Video Configuration
This configuration is supported by practically all | AV |
devices, and represents the simplest solution (see |
|
tableforsettings). |
|
2.S-Video (Y/C) and Standard Video (CVBS)
ThisconfigurationrequiresaTVsetwithautomatic S Video/CVBSswitching.Sourcedevices which sup portSVideoshouldbesettoSVideo,andanyother source devices to CVBS. In this case the integral DVD player and the SVideo source devices auto matically use the SVideo norm, with its inherently higherquality.
3. RGB and Standard Video (CVBS)
Thisconfigurationprovidesthehighestqualityof all, but does require a TV set with automatic RGB / CVBS switching (RGB priority switching TV sets include this facility). RGBcapable source de vices are switched to RGB mode, and any other source devices to CVBS. In this case the integral DVD player and the RGB source devices automati callyusetheRGBnorm,withitsinherentlyhighqua l ity.
