1.1Main features

Two high-quality precision CD decks in a single rack-mountable unit.

RCA unbalanced outputs for each deck

Dedicated per-deck remote control units (detachable and rack-mountable)

10 seconds of anti-shock memory per deck.

Instant start

Large jog dial for frame-accurate cue point search- ing

Selectable tempo and key control range : ±8%, ±16%, or ±32% (or disabled).

Key control function allows changing key without affecting the original tempo

Key control mode in percentage or semitone steps

Original Key function allows tempo change while maintaining the original key

Pitch control to change both tempo and key

100 mm tempo slider

10 seconds’ sampling function (per deck)

3-way loop functions: A-B, SINGLE, and ALL

Seamless loop function in A-B loop

Automatic BPM (beats per minute) count function and BPM counter

1.2Environmental conditions

The TASCAM CD-302 may be used in most areas, but to maintain top performance, and prolong operat- ing life, observe the following environmental conditions:

The nominal temperature should be between 5˚C and 35˚C (41˚F and 95˚F).

Relative humidity should be 30 to 90 degrees non- condensing.

Make sure that the drive unit is mounted in a level position for correct operation.

The units should be mounted, using the supplied rack mounting kits. A typical configuration is shown below, but other configurations are possible:

NOTE

If the disc trays are more than 5 degrees away from the horizontal, they will not open or close.
