2Select 11 PROG (PROG) using the dial or numeric keys.

3Press the ENTER key. The track number, fol- lowed by the program step number (e.g. Pro 05 (PRO 05)), is shown on the display.

4Use the dial to select the position in the pro- gram where the new program step is to be inserted.

5Use the SKIP keys C to select the track to be played as the program step which will be inserted.

3Press the ENTER key. The program step num- ber and the track number are shown on the display.

4Use the dial to display PRO E ( PRO E).

5Press the ENTER key. The display will show

-SuRE- (-SURE-).

6Press the ENTER key one more time to delete the whole program.

6Press the ENTER key. All program steps follow- ing the step which has just been entered will have 1 added to their step numbers.

7Repeat 5 and 6 above for as many steps as will be inserted into the program.

8To finish the program entry sequence, press the PRESET or ENTER key (or any key except the SKIP keys).

4.12.3Deleting program steps

This function allows you to delete individual pro- gram steps from the program.

1Press the PRESET key.

2Select 11 PROG (PROG) using the dial or numeric keys.

3Press the ENTER key. The program step num- ber and the track number are shown on the display.

4Use the dial to select the track to be deleted.

5Use the SKIP keys C to select E (E) (“before” the first track).

6Press the ENTER key to delete the track. Pro- gram steps following the deleted program step will 1 subtracted from their step numbers.

7Repeat steps 5 and 6 for as many tracks as are to be deleted.

8To finish the program step deletion sequence, press the PRESET or ENTER key (or any key except the SKIP keys).

4.12.4 Deleting a whole program

This procedure deletes the whole of the program (all the program steps).

1Press the PRESET key.

NOTE

Opening the disc tray will also clear the whole of the program.

4.13 Output level

You can adjust the output level digitally in steps from +6 to –6, or set to nor (NOR=normal).

The nor setting is equivalent to the +6 setting (max- imum output level is 2 Vp-p). The maximum output level of the 0 setting is 1 Vp-p. The amplification chain must be used to make up volume if required.

1Press the PRESET key.

2Select 12 OUTPUT (OUTPUT) using the dial or numeric keys.

3Press the ENTER key.

4Use the dial to select the value by which the output level will be cut or boosted.

5Press the ENTER key to confirm the setting.

4.14 Brake function

Brake function allows the braking of the audio just like turning off an analog record turntable.
