Listening to iPod 1

1Press the iPod button of the remote control unit (or repeatedly press the SOURCE button) to select “iPod”.

If no iPod is docked, “Unplugged” appears on the display.

If an iPod is already docked, playback will start.

2Insert the iPod into the Dock of the CR-H257i.

“The iPod is connected” briefly appears on the display.

The iPod automatically turns on and starts playback from the iPod’s music list.

<Make sure to use an appropriate Dock adapter (see “Getting started with iPod” on page 24.

<The iPod battery will be fully recharged when the iPod is docked and the CR-H257i is connected to the AC power supply.

<When headphones are plugged into the iPod, sound comes from both the speakers of the CR- H257i and the headphones.

<The STOP button (H) of the remote control unit doesn’t work in iPod mode.

To start or pause playback

In iPod mode, press the PLAY button (G) to start playback.

During playback, press the Pause button (J) to pause playback. Playback stops at the current position. To resume playback, press the PLAY button (G).
