8.10UPGRADE: firmware (F/W) upgrade.

Download the new firmware from www.teac.de and copy to an USB disc.

Plug the USB disk to SMR USB port. Wait until the USB symbol appears.

Switch to Settings and choose UPGRADE. The UPGRADE screen appears. Available options by the center softbutton (3):

1.System Upgrade

2.Reboot System

3.Reset To Factory Default

Scroll to “System Upgrade” from option list, confirmed by OK (7) button and it will bring up file selection screen.

Use UP/DOWN keys to scroll the file list. You can check F/W version and F/W build by the center softbutton (3).

Press OK on F/W file. Now the system will check if this file is OK to upgrade and then bring up a warning message.

Use LEFT (8) key to move cursor to “Yes” and press OK if you are sure to upgrade. Now the WAP-4500 system will start upgrade procedure.

ATTENTION: During the firmware upgrade, there must be no interruption of the power supply! The USB device from which the firmware is downloaded must not be disconnected during the whole firmware upgrade procedure!

After the progress bar goes to 100%, system will reboot. After apprx. 30 seconds, the system will display F/W screen again with the new F/W data.
