2.4 Site Survey
The Site Survey tab Site Survey scans and displays all wireless devices within range. You can connect to a wireless device by
The following fields are available:
Click Scan
To scan for available network connections.
Network name
SSID (See Common in “2.1 Configuration” on page 14.)
MAC address
The MAC address of the listed wireless device.
Channel
The radio channel on which the wireless device operates. (See Common in “2.1 Configuration” on page 14.)
Encryption
The key indicates that an encryption method has been enabled.
Signal
Shows the signal strength from the adapter to the listed wireless devices.
Network Type
Scroll right to see more information on the operating mode of the listed networks.
