Gingerbread:

The hook mixers are required for this recipe. Available from your retailer, ref. SA192377.

150 g wheat flour, 150 g rye flour, 1 sachet (11 g) baking powder, 150 g sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar (7.5 g).

Spices: cinnamon (4 g), cardamom (1 g), aniseed (1 g), nutmeg (0.2 g, pinch), 250 g liquid honey, 1 whole egg, 50 ml milk.

Pour the flour, baking powder and sugar into a bowl.

Grind the spices and add them to the preparation.

Add the honey, egg and milk.

Mix on speed “4” for one minute then leave to rest 10 minutes, before mixing again on “Turbo” position for 10 seconds.

Place the dough in a greased cake tin and cook in the oven for 1 hr, 150°C.

Removing whisks or mixers

With the appliance switched off on position 0, push the ejection button (c) forwards to eject the whisks or mixers.
