Under the Help menu is an About... menu item which displays information about the TLV320AIC3007EVMsoftware.

C Bus Error Detection button allows the user to enable circuitry which sets a register bit (Register107, D0) if an I

C bus error is detected. It is unnecessary to use this with the GUI software but can beused as part of error detection in the end-equipment software design.

The actual USB protocol used as well as instructions on writing scripts are detailed in the followingsubsections. Although it is unnecessary to understand or use either the protocol or the scripts directly,understanding them may be helpful to some users.
