CONNECTING POWER
CAUTION:
CONNECTINGTO YOUR HEADPHONE
Youcan power the system from a standard AC outlet by using the supplied power cord.
The suppliedAC power cord has a polarized plug that fits into the wall outlet only one way. If the plug
doesnot fit properly, turn it over and try again. Do not force it.
A headphone jack is provided for using headphones instead of the built-in speakers. (Headphones are sold
separately.)

Alwaysturn off the Singing Machine, TV and other components before connecting or disconnecting any cables.
Please refer to the instructions listed on this manual. If another component is being connected to this unit,
pleaserefer to the corresponding owner's manual if assistance is needed.
CONNECTING TO A VIDEO SYSTEME17

Inorder to view a DVD, JPG picture CD or sing-along with a CDG on your TV screen, you must connect the RCA

cables(Red-White-Yellow colored plugs) to the output jacks on the rear panel of the unit. Thenconnect the other

endo the RCA plugs to the AUX and VIDEO Input jacks of the video system such as a TV. (Ifyour television does

not include the required VideoInputs a RF modulator (Radio Frequency Modulator) is recommended. The RF

Modulatorconnects to your TV antenna or cable line and serves as Video Input. The illustration below displays

theconnections required for another video system.

NOTE:

Please use the provided CDG disc to test the connections. The lyrics and music of songs on the disc will be

displayedon the TV screen.

Inorder to display the image only on the video system, do not connect the AUDIO OUT (L & R) jacks. The
audio signal will come from the built in speakers. If no sound is heard, check the volume settings of the
unit.
