5. INSTALLATION

5.1. Coaxial Cable Preparation and Termination

3C-2V Type

1.Strip the cable jacket 13 mm from the cable end.

2.Fold back the shields over the cable, then strip the insulator 8 mm from the cable end.

5C-2V Type

1.Strip the cable jacket 23 mm and the shields 13 mm from the cable end.

2.Strip the insulator 8 mm from the cable end.

7C-2V Type

Connect an intermediate length of 5C-2V cable between the end of the 7C-2V cable and the camera.

5.2. Installation

1. Determine the installation method.

1-1. Unexposed wiring

Using the installation hole gauge, make a cable entry hole in the ceiling.

1-2. Open wiring

Cut out the thin camera section shown below using a pair of nippers.
