1.Making outgoing telephone calls from the intercom station

(1) If the CB-600 is connected to PBX extension lines.

Dial (CB interface access No.). After confirm-

ing a dial tone from the PBX, dial (dialing for external calling) to gain access to the telephone line. Then, dial the desired telephone number.

(2)If the CB-600 is connected directly to a telephone line.

Dial (CB interface access No.) to gain access to the telephone line. Then, dial the desired tele- phone number.

It is possible to dial a call with the handset replaced. As soon as the called party answers the call, lift the handset and begin conversation.

(Note 2)

When registering the telephone numbers into the

auto-dialer (HF-660M or AK-024) or for single

digit dialing, press (pause key) immediately

after (CB access No.).

2.Picking up on incoming telephone call from the inter- com station when CB-600 lines are directly connected to the telephone line.

When you hear the telephone ringing tone (ringing tone from an external speaker, or a short intermittent calling

tone from the station speaker), lift the handset and dial

(access No. for call pickup) at any station within the called group. You can then answer the call.

3.Other functions of CB interface

(1)Connection of the pager interface to the CB-600 lines allows a pager with both voice call and indica- tion functions to be called. (For details, refer to the section on pager call and response.)
