To make this function available, both the SI-62 interface and SM-600 speech message unit must be connected to the EXES-6000 exchange. The capacity of a voice mailbox is up to 128 x 8-second message.

Functions include

(1)Absence-mailing. When the user is absent, he can leave his personal message and an incoming call can be recorded into the voice mailbox.

(2)Message mailing. When the called party is absent or his line is busy, the calling party can leave his personal message in the called station.

(3)Remote message pickup. The user can retrieve information deposited in the voice mailbox from any master station.

and you can record your message. To check the recorded contents (playback), press Setting the Privacy switch to ON

automatically transmits the recorded message to the caller.

At the end of each selected recording time, a con-

firmation tone sounds to terminate the recording.

If the recording has been finished before the end of

the selected recording time, press . When you wish

to change the recording, dial . A confirma-

tion tone is heard and the previous recording -is

erased, allowing you to make the new recording.

restored as soon as the absence message is finished.

If you hear a busy tone or dial tone during a record- ing operation, this indicates that the voice mailbox is

full. In such a case, either press or replace the station handset.
